Mortgage Advisory Group, a highly successful, full circle mortgage broker and banker leader in the Pacific Northwest, is seeking a highly motivated, top quality candidate for the position of Underwriter. The position is available immediately in Everett, Mill Creek and Bellevue, WA.

We are looking for a candidate with extensive knowledge of the mortgage industry to handle a loan portfolio for all brokered and banking loans.

The duties of the position may include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Underwrite FHA, VA and Conventional/USDA products in full circle, average of 100 loans monthly
• Coordinate with teams to resolve all underwriting conditions
• Support and work with a team of assigned Mortgage Advisors and their support staff
• Running reports and gathering research
• Coordinate work load with other underwriters
• Keep up-to-date with all law and policy changes from governmental and corporate entitites
• Support other departments as needed
• Other duties as requested

Qualified candidates must have the following:

• Eligibility to work in the US without Visa sponsorship
• High school diploma or GED
• 5+ years experience as an Underwriter in mortgage banking
• CHUMS licensure required
• LAPP licensure preferred
• Encompass 360 experience preferred
• Intermediate Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat and Outlook skills
• Knowledge of scanning and document archiving
• Familiarization with various AUS systems
• Must be able to handle high stress environment, meet deadlines and give
  customer service with poise and efficiency
• Must be extremely detail oriented and organized
• Understands the importance of confidential information
• Ability to work autonomously and as a team
• Ability to pass a criminal background check
• Ability to work overtime as needed
