Mortgage Advisory Group, a highly successful, full circle mortgage broker and banker leader in the Pacific Northwest, is seeking highly motivated, top quality candidates for the position of Mortgage Advisor.

We are looking for professionals with solid experience and knowledge in the mortgage banking industry.

The duties of the position may include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Originates and reviews loan proposals.
• Interviews applicants and requests specific documentation for loan applications.
• Analyzes applicant financial status to determine ability of granting loan.
• Corresponds with applicants to resolve questions and concerns regarding the loan process.
• Confers with Underwriters, Processors, Lock Desk and support staff as needed through the life of the loan.
• Coordinates the closing of the loan with escrow.
• Setting and recording sales performance goals.
• Works with marketing to set and achieve sales and advertising goals.
• Supervises and trains assistant and other support staff.
• Compliance training.
• Keeping up-to-date on all various loan programs and company products available.
• Travel to branch offices will be required on occasion.
• Other duties as required.

Qualified candidates must have the following:

• Eligibility to work in the US without Visa sponsorship
• High School Diploma or GED
• Washington state licensure as a Loan Officer and any additional licensing required
• Outstanding understanding of the mortgage industry
• Excellent knowledge and understanding of the local real estate market
• Knowledge of FHA, USDA, and VA guidelines
• Intermediate Excel, Word, Outlook and Adobe Acrobat skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
• Must be able to meet deadlines
• Understands the importance of confidential information
• Ability to pass a criminal background check
