Mortgage Advisory Group, a leader in Washington Mortgage Lending is seeking enthusiastic, qualified candidates for the opening of Encompass/Software Applications Specialist.

The Applications Specialist will report to the Chief Operating Officer. They are responsible for the newly created IT Department.

• The duties of the position may include, but not limited to, the following:
  Responsible for the administration of Encompass 360, MAGIQ, MAGIntel, WebX, Loan Stacker and all other proprietary and commercial applications adopted for use, or in use at the company.
• Under guidance and direction of the manager, conduct user training onsite and offsite, including group and in-person training, teleconferences, and webinars.
• Under the direction of the manager, assist with software testing for regression and enhancement.
• Assist in the planning, documentation, implementation and troubleshooting of various software applications.
• Under the direction and guidance of IT Administrator/Manager, installs new software releases, system upgrades, evaluates and installs patches and resolves software related problems.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

The minimum qualifications for the position are as follows:

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, MIS or related field OR four (4)years of IT experience
  Minimum of four (4) years experience in Encompass 360 Bankers Edition or four (4) years IT experience supporting LOS, such as Genesis, Point in the Mortgage Banking Industry
• Excellent knowledge of the following: Ellie Mae Encompass Banker Edition, Microsoft Office Suite and WebX
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Must be able to effectively communicate with a diverse group of individuals, including: Ownership, Management, Sales, Underwriters, Loan Processors, Finance, Marketing, Secondary, Funding, Compliance, IT, Operations, and Administrative Support
• Ability to work well under stress
• Ability to travel
